In this past year,
with the money that was raised for Simon, we bought Christmas
presents for well over 100 children and took them to Jackson
Memorial two weeks before the holiday. The gifts were given to the
Transplant Children and the Pediatric ICU children. The rest of the
gifts were given as patients were admitted either before or after
Christmas. We gave money to two families for food and diapers; we
made donations to Simon's Transplant Fund and to Child Life
at the hospital. Additionally, we found 2 local children here in
Orlando that were transplanted at Jackson Memorial. One was in the
hospital with Simon and is now in a group home in town. We've
provided clothing, toys, and videos for her. It is rewarding to see
that in such a short time we’ve already helped several families, but
we would love to be able to help more.
We will be just as committed to this foundation in helping others as
we were with Simon. This is why I have decided to continue with
helping others in his name, and we need your help to continue that
