We were so pleasantly surprised
at the overwhelming support granted to us by family, friends and
those touched by Simon’s story. We had a very successful
result, raising nearly $15,000 at our “Family Fun Day”
event. Although we all had heavy hearts on his birthday
weekend, everyone’s efforts lifted our spirits as we commemorated
his special day with the highest honor: helping others in his name.
The mission does not stop here.
We hope to continue to help those in need of transplant surgeries
and those in recovery from these very emotionally and physically
taxing procedures. The support of others perpetuates a very
comforting feeling in an otherwise devastating time in an
individual’s and their family’s lives. We know that with
our help and the constant drive to gain awareness in our
communities, some day children from every socio-economic background
will not only receive the kind of stellar treatment Simon did, but
also feel the warmth and love of caring people who are compassionate
toward their struggle.
We have just begun, and we hope that your continued support will
allow us to reach goals beyond our wildest expectations. Thank
you and God Bless!
